Ellen’s experience in insolvency and commercial litigation makes her a formidable litigator with an eye for detail. She is equally comfortable in the courtroom and at the negotiation table and brings her passion for insolvency to every matter.

Since being admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2019, Ellen has worked almost exclusively in the insolvency space, honing her skills as a commercial litigator and providing timely and clear advice to insolvency practitioners and private clients. She enjoys working with people to understand and solve problems by quickly identifying and resolving the issues that are important to her clients.

Ellen draws upon her experience at other respected boutique and national firms and has developed a practice with a particular focus on personal and corporate insolvency matters, complex commercial litigation, banking and finance, securitisation enforcement and commercial disputes.

Ellen is passionate about the law and is currently undertaking a part-time PhD at the University of Newcastle as well as maintaining a strong relationship with her alma mater through her role as a sessional academic, where she has been guest lecturing on external administration since 2020.
