Owen is a details man. An exacting draftsman and adviser putting into action more than fourteen years’ experience in the complex commercial space, he leaves no stone unturned. Meticulous and diligent in his approach, Owen brings a disciplined eye to every matter, identifying issues others may overlook and ensuring his clients are thoroughly protected.

Owen is a commercial lawyer who helps clients navigate complex transactions with clarity and confidence. He has a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions and the buying and selling of businesses, advising clients throughout the full transaction lifecycle from early structuring and due diligence through to negotiation, completion and post-completion integration. Owen acts for both buyers and sellers across a range of industries, with particular experience assisting business owners selling businesses they have built and grown over time.

In addition to transactional work, Owen advises clients on broader corporate structuring and governance matters, including shareholder arrangements, investment structures and ongoing corporate compliance. He regularly drafts and negotiates shareholders’ agreements, secured loan documentation and guarantees, and advises on risk allocation and documentation structures in commercial lending and investment arrangements.

Owen also supports clients with the commercial documentation that underpins day-to-day operations, including terms and conditions, service and supply agreements, privacy policies and commercial leasing matters, acting for both landlords and tenants.

Owen approaches each matter with a disciplined, risk-focused mindset. He takes care to identify and explain legal and commercial risks early, ensuring clients are well-informed and appropriately protected. His attention to detail and depth of experience makes his advice practical, commercially grounded, and focused on safeguarding his clients’ interests while enabling them to transact with confidence.
